Library programs offer a variety of ideas and perspectives for learning, exploration, and conversation. Speakers and partners share their own views, which do not necessarily reflect the library’s positions or policies. By providing access to diverse ideas and information, the library helps everyone in our community explore, think, and learn for themselves, reflecting our commitment to intellectual freedom and serving all who use the library.

Portland Public Library is committed to making our programs accessible to all. If you need an accommodation to participate, please contact us in advance so we can make every reasonable effort to support your participation.

Library programs for youth are designed and intended for their respective audiences. Only adults who are accompanying a youth attending a program are permitted to attend library events with a designated audience of Babies, Preschoolers, Children, or Teenagers. Please see our Youth Access & Safety Policy for more information.
