Every step taken together builds a stronger community and a belief that we can do so much more together than divided.

Some of us walk and some of us run to where we are going, no matter how we get there, we get there together.

This walk & race is a fundraiser for the thousands of people throughout Maine that are not just going without sneakers to walk in but also without a support system or hope. Let’s do what we can to change that.

This year, we are so excited to have the support of Maine Beer Co. as our title sponsor. Maine Beer Co. is a champion of community and a local business that values community support, bringing people together and building a sustainable future – values that Maine Needs is built on.

This is a family-friendly event that brings together students, families, local businesses, and community members for a morning of fun, fitness, and fundraising. The event features a 5K run, combined with a 3.5 mile run and 3.5 mile walk. Attendees will also enjoy visiting with local non-profits and event sponsors, face painting for kids, a DJ, Maine Needs merch for sale, coffee, snacks and more!

All proceeds will go to Maine Needs to help support our mission of providing basic material goods for individuals and families throughout Maine.
