Southern Maine is bursting with wonder for young families, but tracking it all down? That felt like a full-time job. I’d hear about an event from a friend, spot a flyer at a coffee shop, or stumble across a Facebook post, only to forget about it by the time the weekend rolled around.
I wanted to be able to choose from the many events happening each weekend, to pick the ones that would best spark my four-year-old daughter’s curiosity and feed her love for exploring new things. But without a clear, comprehensive guide, I was left piecing together scraps of information and hoping I hadn’t missed something wonderful.
So, I built one. A real, organized, weekly calendar of family-friendly events across southern Maine.
It was exactly what I needed. And I figured: if I was struggling to keep track, other parents and caregivers must be, too.
This site is my way of sharing our love for southern Maine, and maybe saving your sanity on a rainy day when the kiddos are bouncing off the walls.
